Love is a Good Thing

Too many country songs complain about love.  Sure, love isn’t always fun.  It isn’t always enjoyable, or cut and dry, or unambiguous, or easy–least of all, easy.  But it’s always good.  Even when it’s kicking you in the teeth, because it would only do so if your teeth needed rearranging.  Of course, it’s easy to call it good when things are going pretty well.  I wrote this during one of those rare bouts of healthy perspective.
