Life is full of little resurrections, it is true. Reminds me a little of what CS Lewis said about the great ancient myths of gods who die and rise again, how there is something woven into the fabric of the human mind that longs for a god that will do just that, and how Jesus is the fulfillment of these longings. Also reminds me of the statements about Abraham in Hebrews 11:17-19 and in Romans 4:16-25 -- he was a man with "resurrection faith." This is why he is the father of faith for us all: he believed God would not only resurrect his and his wife's infertile bodies to bring forth a son, but he also believed God would raise that son from death.
